Pickles At Manchac |
Previous | Home | Next |
Bayou Manchac is an eighteen mile long bayou in southeast Louisiana. This bayou was once
a very important waterway linking the Mississippi River to the Amite River.
The artist's dog
Pickles stands proudly on the wharf enjoying the serenity of the bayou. Pickles was the family
pet (dog) for over 15 years. David placed him in a couple
of Landscape Pictures and decided
he would become a sentimental addition to most of his paintings. Pickles is usually in silhouette
placed in inconspicuous parts of his
paintings. Many of his customers now look for Pickles
when they are purchasing his work. |
